Remarkable landscapes

This qualifier is the only one that can really be applied to each of the many sites dotting the Pays d'Iroise and its magnificent coastline. The visitor is quickly won over by the beauty, even subjugated, as much by the immensity of the landscapes, as by their wild and ever-changing appearance, whatever the weather. This part of the world with its powerful wind full of iodized sea spray surprises tourists at every turn of the shoreline and at the bottom of the sunken paths where it is so pleasant to walk away from the beach in the middle of summer.
Among all these remarkable places, it is difficult to make choices. They're so different ! But visitors are not mistaken. They rush to contemplate the waves breaking on the reefs of the wild coast in the aftermath of stormy days, they choose to follow the coastal path from Bertheaume to Pointe St-Mathieu to take a country walk away from the hustle and bustle of the city, or to observe egret, herons and tadorns in the early morning at the bottom of the ria of Le Conquet or the Aber Ildut.
However, one observation : at certain times of the year, the influx of visitors to the same place deteriorates the trails and endangers the fauna and flora. No one can regulate this need for relaxation and fresh air, so it is up to each person to choose the time of day when he or she can fully enjoy the landscape without participating in the over-tourism that degrades it.
